Casino Floor Dining — dinner at eight, dealer at ten

A three-course dinner at 7pm, then a reserved gaming table from 9pm with a dedicated dealer and $50 gaming credit per guest. Fridays and Saturdays, 18 and over, beginner lesson included before the first hand.

$189 /guest · $50 gaming credit included 6 hours (19:00–01:00) 2–40 guests

The service

The only room in Brisbane where the sommelier and the croupier share a floor

The format has run every Friday since 2014: dinner at seven in the dining room, coffee at nine, then the brass door opens onto a reserved table with your name on the rail. The dealer is yours for the session — blackjack, roulette or poker — and the lesson before the first hand is part of the package, not an upsell.

The $50 gaming credit lands on your player card at the cage before you sit down. Minimums at the reserved tables start at $10 a hand, and the floor team will set a budget with you before play begins — then help you keep it. That house rule is older than the licence.

The experience

Built for beginners, run for regulars

Nobody at the reserved table is expected to know what they're doing. The lesson covers blackjack and roulette in ten minutes, printed rule cards sit at every seat, and the dealer deals to the slowest player at the table — that is the culture, not a courtesy.

Regulars get the table they want, the limits they play and a floor manager who remembers their dealer. The Midnight Chip Run — the ticketed, forty-seat version of this format with a progressive dinner across three rooms — runs quarterly on the events calendar.

"Dinner at seven, blackjack at nine, walked out up four hundred dollars. The dealer taught my partner the game in ten minutes and never once made her feel slow about it."
